HANNA offers a wide range of relative humidity (RH) meters. Calibration is performed at the factory using humidity chambers and tuned at 3 different points (14%, 50%, 80%).

What is Relative Humidity?

Realative Humidity is the amount of water vapor in a mixture of air and water vapor.

Why is Relative Humidity (RH) important?

There is optimum Relative Humidity range for the well being of certain applications, outside this range the growth of bacteria, fungi and viruses can increase.

Is relative humidity the only type of humidity?

Humidity typically refers to relative humidity. However, relative humidity is just a ratio of how much water vapor is in a given volume of air compared with the amount of water vapor that would saturate the air at a given temperature and pressure. The measure of the water vapor content in the air is known as absolute humidity. Absolute humidity is typically given by grams of water vapor per cubic meter of air, while relative humidity is simply a percentage value.
