Description
The HI99141 meter features a large multi level LCD screen which displays both pH and temperature readings simultaneously with 0.01 pH resolution and an accuracy of ±0.02 pH. The LCD screen also has indicators for calibration status and stability, as well as on-screen tutorial messages. The HI99141 has many advanced features that are found in more expensive portable instrumentation including automatic calibration, buffer recognition, and temperature compensation. The battery percent level is displayed at start up alerting the user to the remaining battery power that is available.
The HI99141 is supplied with the amplified titanium body pH/temperature electrode. The titanium body is resistant to many aggressive chemicals and extremely durable. The titanium body acts as a matching pin for the flat tip pH electrode. A matching pin is a differential measurement technique used to eliminate electrical noise in a pH measurement system. The matching pin coupled with a pre-amplifier provides for an increased response time in pH measurement and extends the electrode life.
The HI729113 also features a large annular polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) junction. This large junction is resistant to chemicals but has a large surface area allowing for maximum diffusion of ions from the inside of the reference electrode into the sample resulting in a fast, stable reading. The flat tip pH electrode with a PTFE junction in a titanium body make the HI729113 ideal for the water treatment industry.
Unbreakable titanium body
Titanium construction provides an unbreakable structure and allows the transfer of heat to the internal temperature sensor for rapid temperature compensation.
Maintenance free, gel-filled electrode
No fill solution required.
